MUSES by Future Commerce: Where Art Meets Commerce at Miami Art Week
Miami Beach, Florida — Future Commerce is proud to present "MUSES," an extraordinary exploration of the interplay between art and commerce, during Art Basel Week in Miami. This immersive art exhibition, coupled with a retail pop-up and the launch of a limited-edition printed journal promises to captivate the imagination and redefine the boundaries of creative synergy.
Event Information:
Dates: December 6th - 8th
Location: 1100 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, Florida Hours & Details: futurecommerce.com/muses
MUSES takes place in the historical Chase Bank building dating back to the 1930s, complete with the original vault. This significant venue is a nod to the curatorial statement that inspires the event – the idea that inspiration is inherently multidisciplinary in this generation.
In a world where innovation blurs the lines between art, technology, design, and branding, MUSES emerges as a platform where these disciplines converge. Brands, once seen solely as business entities, now serve as muses, igniting the creativity of artists, and in turn, artists breathe life and meaning into brands, resonating deeply with audiences.
MUSES reinterprets the classical realms of the Greek muses to encompass modern realms of commerce, technology, and human connections. This dynamic exhibition showcases the fusion of the mundane with the extraordinary, where visionary artists and influential brands become cultural icons, serving as catalysts for community and innovation.
More than ten artists will activate the space, each representing and reinterpreting one of the Classical Greek muses. Visitors will be treated to a dynamic array of art forms, including a live AI installation that allows the audience to see themselves as part of the artwork, a live onsite robot creating art, augmented reality experiences, painting, photography, video installations, captivating performances, mesmerizing projections, enchanting sound pieces, and awe-inspiring sculptures.
MUSES promises to be a journey through the multidimensional world of art and commerce, a space where lines blur and where innovation and inspiration collide. Join us for this captivating exploration of creativity during Art Basel Week in Miami.
"MUSES is the exploration of contemporary human inspiration. Artists in the exhibition are investigating the relationship between inspiration and technology, love, tragedy, comedy, history, music, poetry, epics and the meaning of life. The key to MUSES is recognizing that we inspire each other constantly, whether we are aware of it or not." - Curator, Tam Gryn
